Kesari Chapter 2 is all set for a release on next Friday, and while the courtroom drama is based on a real-life story, one that many of us have heard of, everyone’s looking forward for the Akshay Kumar release.
While you count days for the release on April 18, we’ve got you a few other hard-hitting Bollywood films you can watch.
1). Section 375, Prime Video
The Ajay Bahl directorial features Akshaye Khanna, Meera Chopra and Richa Chadha. This movie narrates the story of Rohan Khurrana, who is convicted of raping a designer and is sent to 10 years of prison. How the drama follows is what makes for an interesting watch.
2). Mulk, ZEE5
The movie is filmed in Varanasi and Lucknow and features Rishi Kapoor along with Taapsee Pannu. The story is based on a Muslim family trying to reclaim their lost honour after the patriach Murad Ali Mohammed, played by rishi, is involved in terrorism.
3). Shaurya, ZEE5
Javed Khan is accused of killing a high-up officer but instead of being defended, he simply admits to his crime. Nonetheless, Maj. Siddhant Chaudhary, an Indian Army lawyer, tries to defend the captain who is accused but he chooses to stay silent.
4). Rustom, ZEE5
When a naval officer finds out about his wife’s affair while he is away, he surrenders after confessing to having murdered him. However, things get interesting as the case unfolds and you discover the hidden intention. It’s a rather interesting watch.
5). Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai, ZEE5
Another stunner that got a lot of love and raving reviews, this movie features Manoj Bajpayee in the lead role and narrates the story of how a regular session court lawyer, Adv PC Solanki, finds himself struggling to get justice for a minor assaulted by a godman.
6). Pink, Prime Video
A movie that received a lot of appreciation, this movie narrates Minal’s story, who tries to file an FIR with her friends in order to make a case against a politician’s nephew. However, when things get rigged, Amitabh Bachchan’s Deepak, decides to come to their rescue to help fight the case.
7). OMG, Jio Hotstar
One of my personal favourites on the list, when Kanji’s shop is destroyed due to an earthquake, he fights a case to sue God. But this causes him trouble as the society at large, is against him. But when Lord Krishna comes to his rescue, it all gets interesting.
