“A Painful Reminder Of How Life Can Change”: Rozlyn Khan Reflects On The Ahmedabad Plane Crash

Moved by the tragic Ahmedabad plane crash, actor and cancer survivor Rozlyn Khan opens up about life’s uncertainty, the weight of unspoken words, and the healing power of love and forgiveness.

Her reflections offer a heartfelt reminder to live more meaningfully.

The tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad has left the entire nation grieving. Among those deeply affected is actor Rozlyn Khan, who has appeared in projects like Dhama Choukdi, Savita Bhabhi, Jee Lene Do Ek Pal, and Crime Alert. As someone who has personally faced the fragility of life during her battle with stage four cancer, the news hit her especially hard.

Rozlyn Khan  said, “The devastating plane crash in Ah medabad left me shaken to my core. It was a painful reminder of how life can change—or end—in just a split second. I’ve come close to death myself, and I know what it means to feel like tomorrow isn’t promised. But hearing stories of families who never got the chance to say goodbye—it’s absolutely heartbreaking.”

For Rozlyn Khan, moments like these bring everything into sharper focus. She said,  “We always say ‘live in the moment,’ but most of us are just trying to survive—running from one task to the next, hoping to feel safe, accepted, or successful. Tragedies like this force you to pause. They serve as a stark reminder that even something as basic as breathing isn’t guaranteed. What really matters is presence, peace, and love—not our achievements or bank balances.”

Rozlyn Khan spoke gently about the way such events reshape how we view our relationships. She shared, “After surviving cancer, I’ve stopped holding grudges. I’ve seen how quickly everything can change. Once you’ve faced your own mortality, you carry pain—and people—differently. Forgiveness, I’ve realized, isn’t a weakness. It’s wisdom.”

When asked if she had any regrets, Rozlyn Khan answered with raw honesty. She said, “Of course I do. Looking back, I wish I had spoken up for myself when it really mattered. I regret letting others decide my worth. I’ve come to understand that thinking I needed to be flawless to be loved was a misguided belief.”

If she could relive her life, she’d choose courage over caution—and this time, she’d follow her own instincts. She said, “I’d speak the truth louder. And most importantly, I’d love myself the way I love others—without conditions.”

In closing, Rozlyn Khan left a powerful message. She shared, “Life is short. None of us are promised a tomorrow. Say what’s in your heart before the moment passes you by. And if someone is seeking your forgiveness, don’t wait—offer it today. And if you love someone—don’t wait. Tell them. Right now.”
