With Ganesh Chaturthi just around the corner, homes and hearts across the country are eagerly preparing to welcome Bappa back into their lives.
Aadesh Chaudhary talks about how the festival holds a deep significance for him and his family, symbolising faith, devotion, and fresh starts.
He shares, “Ganesh Chaturthi represents a time filled with positivity, spiritual connection, and the chance to embrace new opportunities. It reminds us to keep faith, stay grounded, and welcome every challenge with strength, just like Bappa blesses us with wisdom and courage.”
Although he doesn’t bring Ganpati into his home, he never misses a chance to visit the pandals in Mumbai.
“I always try to seek Bappa’s blessings during the festival. In Mumbai, the celebrations are larger than life, the chants, the lights, the decorations, the unity, you can literally feel the devotion in the air. Visiting pandals like Lalbaugcha Raja has always been an overwhelming and spiritually uplifting experience for me,” he says.
When it comes to festive favorites, he laughs, “Modak tops the list for me! It’s not just Bappa’s favorite but mine too.” Aadesh Chaudhary adds, “I also enjoy puran poli—it instantly brings in the festive mood and makes you feel at home.”
Aadesh Chaudhary observes how dramatically Mumbai’s energy shifts during the festival. “The city that is usually so fast‑paced suddenly becomes more colorful, vibrant, and united. The vibe is infectious, you can’t help but get carried away by the festive spirit,” he smiles.
“This is the time to come together, seek blessings, and move forward with renewed energy and optimism,” he concludes.
