Aasif Sheikh had a health scare on the sets of Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain, and the actor has been making headlines ever since. Later last night, he released a statement about what happened and revealed that he hopes to be in front of the camera soon.
Popularly known for the iconic role of Vibhuti Narayan Mishra in Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain, yesterday evening, reports about Aasif Sheikh being rushed to the hospital after collapsing on the sets, first came in. A couple of hours later, the actor issued a statement and also gave a health update to his fans.

In his statement, Aasif Sheikh revealed that he was shooting for Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain in Dehradun and he suddenly started feeling numbness in his foot followed by sciatica pain, which actually made the situation worse for him.
Aasif Sheikh also revealed that he was taken to Mumbai in a wheelchair and he has now been advised to take complete bed rest. He also revealed that he landed back in Mumbai on the 18th of this month and he has been on rest while the treatment is also on. The Bhabhiji… actor further revealed that he believes another week’s rest is needed and he hopes to be in front of the camera soon.
Meanwhile, it was just yesterday that the news of the show’s writer, Manoj Santoshi passing away after a long battle with liver cancer came in. Reports revealed that the writer passed away early morning on March 24th, in his hometown Aligarh, in the presence of his family.

Aasif Sheikh has been a part of the industry for 3 decades now and has in fact, also featured in some of the most iconic films, including Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Yes Boss, and Karan Arjun, among others.
Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain continues to be one of the longest comedy dramas on Indian television and apart from Aasif, it also features Rohitashv Gour, Shubhangi Atre and Vidisha Srivastava in leading roles.
