Ranndeep R Rai, spoke candidly about what it truly means to be a public figure. Reflecting on the responsibilities that come with fame, he shared his views on staying grounded, handling public perception, and drawing inspiration from real struggles.

“For me, the word ‘celebrity’ is more a responsibility than a title,” Ranndeep R Rai shared in an exclusive chat.

Ranndeep R Rai said, “It signifies that people have trusted you, appreciated your work, and now look to you to represent something meaningful. I don’t chase stardom, but I deeply respect the influence it carries. What truly inspires me isn’t the fame itself, but the hard work behind it — the consistency, the setbacks, the silent battles people rarely notice.”

Ranndeep R Rai further reflected on the weight that comes with recognition. He shared, “When people, especially the younger generation, begin to look up to you, you unknowingly become a part of how they think, behave, and make choices. That’s why I always strive to keep it real. I don’t claim to be perfect, but I’m careful not to endorse anything misleading. Fame is temporary, but the impact you leave behind can last forever.”

The also touched on the privileges that sometimes come with being a public figure and how he chooses to navigate them. “I really dislike taking shortcuts just because of a celebrity status.

Yes, those privileges do exist, but I personally prefer waiting my turn. It helps keep me grounded. At the end of the day, respect is a two-way street — if we expect it from people, we must also give it unconditionally,” Ranndeep R Rai shared.

Addressing the common notion that celebrities often have an attitude, Ranndeep R Rai explained, “Sometimes, even when you’re just quiet or in a rush, people might interpret it as arrogance. I do my best not to take it to heart. I let my actions speak for me. We’re human, too — and sometimes, it’s okay not to be constantly available.”
