The current storyline of Star Plus’ Anupamaa has entered a new phase, taking a brief leap that now centres on Anupamaa’s (played by Rupali Ganguly) life in Mumbai. Following the tragic death of Aryan (Ranndeep R Rai) due to a drug overdose, tensions rose sharply between the families involved.
Both the Shahs and the Kotharis held Anupamaa responsible for concealing the truth, ultimately severing all ties with her. Left heartbroken and isolated, Anupamaa decided to start afresh in Mumbai, where she now leads a very different life.
