Reinventing Himself Across Television Formats

From daily soaps and thrillers to reality shows and even food-based entertainment, Arjun Bijlani has consistently reinvented himself across television formats.

Known for his charismatic screen presence and easy rapport with viewers, the actor recently spoke about his evolving career, his intentional project choices, and the values that now guide him professionally and personally.

Arjun on the Success of Laughter Chefs

Last seen in the culinary reality series Laughter Chefs, Arjun Bijlani admitted he was taken aback by how well the show was received.

“I went in thinking it would be light and entertaining, but the love we received has truly touched me. People enjoyed seeing us let loose and be ourselves,” he said.

The show’s candid moments and spontaneous humour gave fans a rare look at their favorite stars in an unscripted, authentic light.

Why He Did Not Return for Season 2

Despite the show’s soaring popularity, Arjun Bijlani chose not to return for its second season, a decision he described as deeply personal. He explained, “I’m focusing on projects that are more creatively fulfilling and meaningful. I also want to make the most of my downtime with family. It’s all about growth and balance now.”

More than just a fun experience, Laughter Chefs had a lasting impact on him. Arjun Bijlani reflected,

“It pushed me out of my comfort zone, helped me discover a love for cooking, and allowed me to explore a side of myself I hadn’t before. Each day on set was full of energy and laughter, something very different from my previous work.”

Future Choices and Career Goals

Looking for Deeper Roles

Looking ahead, Arjun Bijlani is deliberately seeking out roles that challenge him on a deeper level. “I seek out projects that offer personal growth, creative depth, and a strong emotional impact.

I want roles that challenge me, that have emotional depth, and that stay with the audience even after the show ends. I’m particularly drawn to grey-shaded characters, biopics, or intense OTT dramas,” he revealed.

Next Project on OTT

On the work front, Arjun Bijlani, who has also made a mark in the non-fiction space, is reportedly gearing up for his next venture, Rise and Fall, a reality series soon to stream on an OTT platform.

As he continues to explore new creative avenues, Arjun Bijlani’s focus remains clear: choosing substance over noise, staying grounded, and allowing each project to reflect a new layer of his evolving artistic journey.
