Ashnoor Kaur is currently seen as Vini in c’s latest series Jabb Zodiacs Met, produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut Production. In the show, Ashnoor portrays a Virgo, a role she says instantly caught her attention and pushed her to explore her character in depth.
Ashnoor Kaur on Why Jabb Zodiacs Met Felt Fresh and Unique
Calling the concept refreshing, Ashnoor Kaur shared that it was unlike anything she had done before.
“It was a very intriguing idea because something like this hasn’t really been explored earlier. I personally enjoy reading about zodiac signs and personality traits, so as an actor, it gave me the opportunity to do a lot of research, which I genuinely enjoyed,” Ashnoor Kaur said.
What made the project even more special for her was working with creator Ishika Shahi, who is from the same age group. Praising Ishika’s vision, Ashnoor said,
“She’s a darling to work with. When younger minds come together on a project, there’s a freshness and a strong Gen Z perspective that naturally connects with today’s audience.”
She added, “I wish her nothing but the best for everything she takes on next. She has immense potential and will definitely achieve great things.”

Speaking about her character, Ashnoor Kaur explained that Vini reflects classic Virgo traits but also carries emotional depth.
“As a Virgo, she’s a perfectionist, there’s also a softer side that knows how to let go. In real life, I’m a Taurus. Some Taurus traits — like listening to your heart, being there for your loved ones, and being honest about your feelings—resonated with me while playing this role,” she shared.
She also pointed out the complexity of portraying zodiac-based personalities.
“Zodiac signs often get boxed into fixed traits, but every person — and every sign — has layers. Bringing that balance to the character was challenging but very rewarding,” Ashnoor Kaur added.
Ashnoor Kaur believes destiny and cosmic connections do influence love to an extent, though she maintains a practical outlook.
“I wouldn’t say I have blind faith, but zodiac signs do shape personality traits to a large extent — while still allowing room for exceptions,” she said.
Asked about her biggest takeaway from the show, Ashnoor Kaur shared a heartfelt message:
“If something doesn’t work out, it’s usually because God has planned something better for you.”
Looking ahead, if the stars could guide her next role, Ashnoor Kaur would love to explore action.
“I’d love to play a warrior princess. I’m really excited about the idea of doing an action genre with bikes and intense action sequences,” Ashnoor Kaur said.
