Binddii is set to go off air on January 16, just weeks after introducing a 15-year time leap.
Despite a new lead pair and refreshed storyline, the show ends after a short four-month run.
Television show Binddii, which recently underwent a major 15-year time leap, is all set to wrap up its journey. The final episode of the show will be telecast on January 16, bringing an abrupt end to its short run. Launched in September last year, Binddii will conclude after being on air for just about four months, joining the list of shows that ended sooner than expected.

Following the time leap introduced in the second half of December, the makers brought in Shruti Choudhary and Aashay Mishra as the new lead pair. Shruti stepped into the role of Binddii, while Aadhay was seen as Mahi Pathak in the post-leap narrative. Before the leap, the show was led by Radhika Muthukumar and Krushal Ahuja. Sanchi Bhoyar and Gantavya Sharma portrayed the younger versions of Binddii and Mahi, helping establish the emotional base of the story in its initial phase.
The storyline of Binddii revolves around the life of a strong-willed woman navigating family expectations, relationships, and personal sacrifices. The pre-leap episodes focused on Binddii’s struggles, emotional bonds, and evolving relationship with Mahi. Post-leap, the narrative attempted to introduce a fresh perspective by showcasing an older Binddii and how time had reshaped her life and relationships.
Despite the introduction of a new generation and a revamped track, the show struggled to maintain momentum. Shruti Choudhary and Aashay Mishra’s entry was aimed at reinvigorating viewer interest, but the drastic shift in the storyline did not translate into sustained viewership.
With its conclusion now confirmed, Binddii will bid farewell to audiences on January 16. While its run was brief, the show attempted to explore emotional storytelling through generational change and personal growth.
