Connect With Today’s Generation Because They Are Largely Carefree: Saanand Verma

Saanand Verma, who has been part of shows like Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain! and Lapataganj, among others, and movies like Mardaani, Raid, and Mission Raniganj, to name some, wants to live a stress-free and chill life like the youth today.

Saanand said, “I connect with today’s generation because they tend to be easygoing, relaxed and emotionally less burdened. They know how to enjoy life and don’t carry unnecessary negativity. I also want to live a carefree, relaxed, and happy life, so that connection naturally exists.”

He said that he relates to today’s generation because they tend to be easygoing, relaxed, and emotionally unburdened.

However, he feels that there is an over-dependence on the internet and digital gadgets, which is quite a challenge. Saanand Verma said, “Their connection with nature has reduced. Taking regular breaks from the internet, staying close to nature, and disconnecting from screens, even once a week and can help bring balance.”

But he still looks at them with hope. Saanand Verma said, “Today’s youth is very powerful because knowledge is readily available. They don’t have to spend years just acquiring information. They have more time to create, explore, and innovate. If they balance technology with mental health and nature, they can do amazing things.”

For Saanand, earlier being successful meant making his family happy, but Saanand Verma added, “Today, I feel success is being able to keep myself happy. If I am happy, only then can my family and people around me be happy. Unconditional happiness is my goal now.”

He also stressed the importance of failure and shared, “Without failure, success has no meaning. Just like you cannot understand spicy food if you have never tasted it, you cannot understand success without failure. Both success and failure are essential in life. You should always learn from failure and keep improving.”

Talking about the mindsets that kept him going in the initial days of his struggle, Saanand Verma said, “My struggles started in childhood, so I developed a habit of hard work and constant learning early on. Life taught me everything. I consider life the biggest masterclass. Observing life deeply helped me grow without losing direction.”

Mental health continues to be a topic of discussion, and he feels that good mental health is everything. “If you are not mentally strong, you will make wrong decisions, carry negativity, and lose balance. Happiness is a command of the mind. Meditation, yoga, reading, and spirituality, all these help. If you are mentally strong, you can handle any stressful situation,” Saanand Verma ended.
