Parakh Madan, who has been part of shows like Bhagyalakshmi, Anupamaa, Meet, and Qurbaan Hua, among others, believes that though luck plays an important role, efforts matter the most. However, she insisted that it’s all a game of holding a belief.
Parakh Madan on Luck, Effort, and the Power of Belief

She said, “I do believe in luck. But I think effort plays an important part. Everything stems from belief, and I think belief in itself and by itself is enough to change outcomes. If you believe in something, your brain automatically starts scanning for things to support that belief. That’s the magic of the human brain.”
Parakh Madan stressed that mindset influences success and said, “I read the following quote somewhere recently, and it resonated very deeply: ‘Fortune might get you into the room, and destiny might set the stage, but mindset determines if you actually perform or just stand in the wings.'”
Asked if she follows any rituals as a source of comfort or confidence, Parakh Madan said, “If someone can convince me with logic or science about following a ritual and habit, I follow them. If it doesn’t make any sense to me, I obviously don’t. In general, these things personally don’t bring me any comfort or confidence.”

She is of the belief that people create their own “good luck” through choices. “Consistency acts as a compound interest for luck. I constantly feel lucky. There are many moments of this realisation that I experience on a daily basis. So, picking one particular moment/experience isn’t possible,” Parakh Madan ended.
