Ankita Bhatt who played a layered character in Sony SAB’s Tenali Rama talks about being a part of the show and her upcoming project.
Naagin 6 actress Ankita Bhatt has been entertaining the viewers for a long time now. The actress is blessed with amazing looks, great height and of course, she’s bestowed with acting talent which makes her a good pick for various roles in television shows and OTT projects.
The actress is also a part of Sony SAB’s Tenali Rama. Downtown Mirror Weekly got in touch with Bhatt and asked her about her experience shooting for Tenali Rama. The actress said, “Well, it’s a pleasure working in Tenali Rama season 2. It is a comedy show and has brilliant actors like Pankaj Berry and Krishna Bharadwaj. I’ve learned a lot working with them and I always have a gala time on the sets of the show. It’s great when you get to work with profound actors from the industry.”
Elaborating about her role in Tenali Rama, Ankita Bhatt said, “So, I played the character of Saundarika in the show. As the name suggests, she is extremely beautiful. She bluffs the king and it is later revealed that she is a witch. One fine day, the king sees Saundarika in her witch form in the jungle and he runs away. However, Saudarika tries to get him killed and also curses him that he will never succeed to rule in his kingdom, which turns out to be true.”
Ankita Bhatt is also shooting for Kuku FM’s web series Mohabbat Ka Sauda. Revealing more details about the same, Ankita shared, “It is a micro drama series for Kuku FM. I play a double role in the project. I play the lead role in the show and the story is quite interesting and gripping. It is a suspense- thriller but also has a lot of emotional quotient to it. I also play a mother to girl child in the project. It is quite an intriguing story.”
