Colors TV show Mangal Lakshmi is getting quite interesting with each passing episode. Downtown Mirror Weekly exclusively informed the viewers that Kartik and Lakshmi will fear Gayatri passing away tragically.

We informed the viewers that Gayatri will be distraught with her actions and conspiracies being exposed in front of Kartik. She will feel extremely guilty and think that it is better for her to die. Cut to, Kartik and Lakshmi search for Gayatri on the streets. They come to know about a woman jumping off the cliff and committing suicide. This leaves them stunned. With a heavy heart, Kartik identifies the dead body.
The sequence has been shot in a way that people along with Kartik-Lakshmi feel that Gayatri is no more and thus, we contacted actress Gayatri Sohum to know the truth behind the same, she said, “Not at all, Gayatri is not dying. It has only been a while that she is exposed in front of Kartik but in the upcoming episodes, she will be set to take her revenge against Jia and Lakshmi. There’s a lot of twists in the upcoming track and I’m sure ardent fans of the show will love the same.”
With Gayatri realizing her mistake, will the character turn positive? Gayatri responded to the question and said, “I don’t think so. My character adds a lot of spice to the story and no offense, but I feel positive mother-in-law in a daily soap can get quite boring and typical. I love playing the negative shade. However, I would love to know if the viewers want to see me in a positive role in Mangal Lakshmi.“
We asked her if she gets online hatred for her negative character in the show. Gayatri shared, “That’s bound to happen. It only means that I’m doing my job convincingly. I don’t take it to heart. Additionally, I also get a lot of lovely messages in my DMs. There are female fans who really adore my onscreen son Kartik (Shubham Dipta). I get many rishtas for him on social media (laughs).”
