Udne Ki Aasha actress Tanvi Shewale who plays the character of Roshni in the show spoke at length about her biggest learning from her onscreen character, her self care routine and more.
Star Plus’ show Udne Ki Aasha has been keeping the audience on the edge of their seats. People are loving the chemistry between Sachin and Sayli along with interesting dynamics between other important characters like Roshni and Tejas.
Downtown Mirror Weekly got in touch with actress Tanvi Shewale who plays the character of Roshni Deshmukh in the show and asked her about her biggest learning from playing the complex character of Roshni in the show. She said, “Well, I believe Roshni is extremely inspirational as she is determined to change the course of her life. She is dedicated to making sure that she moves ahead of her past and makes her dreams come true. Although, I understand that her ways are not good.”
Tanvi also added, “Apart from that, while playing Roshni, I’ve realised that lying is a trap. Once you start lying, you are trapped and will have to say another 100 lies to cover the first lie that you’ve said. I’ve understood the repercussions of lying while playing this character.”
When asked how she balances her tough schedule given that TV is a demanding medium, she said, “Yes, it does get exhausting at times, but I make sure that I give some time to myself. I leave early for a shoot, as I stay far away from the sets. I make sure to eat home-made food. My mother packs nutritious food for me and I make sure to eat clean food and on time. While I travel, I listen to nice music, which makes me feel relaxed and stress free. After returning from the shoot I take my sweet time to do my skin-care.”
“On an off day, I try to hit the gym and spend quality time doing what I love and that’s what contributes to me balancing my hectic schedule,” she concluded.
