We’ve had multiple occasions where Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan happened to come across each other, but never actually have much conversation, especially since they have history. And well, that changed as not only did they greet each other, but also had quite a conversation.
This happened at the press conference for IIFA 2025 in Jaipur, where the paps clicked them hugging each other and indulging in a short but quick chat.

Obviously, as one would have it, fans couldn’t seem to get enough of this and soon, comments were piling up with fans having a lot to say.
One user wrote, “OMG SHAHID AND BEBO OMG MY FAVORITES.” Another went on to mention, “Finally acting like matured individuals.” One internet user also mentioned, “That awkwardness is so obvious on Shahid’s face.”
Of course, everyone had a lot to say and why not, because hello, they are top actors, used to date each other, and netizens love drama, don’t they?
While Kareena styled a stunning bermuda shorts with a blazer of sorts and finished her look with black boots, Shahid wore what looked like a printed white suit, and looked dapper, as usual.
As for Kareena and Shahid, the duo dated for a long time in the late 2000s and have also worked together in multiple films, including the iconic, Jab We Met. However, they did part ways before the film’s shoot, and later on, while Kareena went on to marry Saif Ali Khan, Shahid married Mira Rajput.
On the work front, Shahid was most recently seen in Deva, and while the film was a remake, it did very well at the box office. As for Kareena, she was most recently seen in The Buckingham Murders, which was an absolute hit with not just fans, but also did very well.
Meanwhile, IIFA 2025 will conclude on March 9, 2025, and Kartika Aaryan will host the awards show.
