“Festivals Bring Happiness and Positivity,” Says Anuradha Upadhyay

Actress Anuradha Upadhyay, who is seen alongside Sharad Malhotra in the music video Baarisha and has appeared in shows like Nimki Mukhiya, Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai! and Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, shares her deep appreciation for the festive season.

She explains how celebrations like Navratri, Dussehra, Diwali, and Bhai Dooj bring joy, energy, and positivity into people’s lives.

“Navratri is full of devotion and happiness. It gives a cheerful start to all the upcoming festivals,” says Anuradha, adding, “People feel excited, lively, and energetic it’s like opening the door to a whole season of joy, where each festival brings its own charm.”

Speaking about the spiritual benefits, Anuradha Upadhyay believes that festivals play a key role in uplifting the soul. “They shift our attention toward hope, inner peace, and the uplifting energy of spiritual practices. When we celebrate, we naturally forget our worries and stress. It’s a way to let go of negativity,” she shares.

She adds that the series of celebrations helps keep spirits high. She says, “Each festival brings something unique music, dance, laughter. It keeps the mood uplifted and gives us reasons to smile.”

Anuradha also stresses the emotional importance of these occasions. “Festivals bring families and friends together. Even brief reunions help us reconnect and reduce stress,” she says, adding, “It’s not just about rituals it’s emotional and spiritual refreshment. They help the heart and mind feel lighter, calmer, and more joyful.”

On a personal level, she enjoys spreading happiness by decorating her home, sharing sweets, and spending quality time with loved ones. “Small gestures like these add so much brightness to life,” Anuradha Upadhyay notes.

She also draws a connection between festivities and Bollywood. “Vibrant music and lively dance sequences have a way of instantly boosting your spirits and energising the atmosphere. It’s like experiencing the joy of a festival on screen,” she adds with a smile.
