Srman Jain shares how Diwali is incomplete without the warmth of family and friends.
Even when work keeps him away, he makes it a point to stay connected and cherish the spirit of togetherness.
Actor Srman Jain, known for his roles in popular shows like Saas Bina Sasural, Trideviyaan, and Mere Angne Mein, shared how Diwali has always held a special place in his heart. For him, the festival is less about grandeur and more about being surrounded by loved ones.
He says, “Diwali for me is about family, friends, and togetherness. Usually, I prefer celebrating Diwali with my family. In fact, there’s only been one Diwali in my entire life when I wasn’t with them, that was when I was shooting in London. Apart from that, I’ve always made it a point to be home with my family and friends during the festival.”
Now that Srman spends most of his time in Chandigarh for shoots, he admits he misses the Mumbai-style Diwali celebrations. He shares, “Because I’m mostly in Chandigarh these days, the shoots are usually on during Diwali, so I celebrate it there. But yes, I do miss Bombay Diwali, the vibe, the lights, the energy. It’s something special.”
Despite the distance, Srman ensures the spirit of the festival remains the same filled with warmth, calls to friends, and a deep sense of gratitude. “Even when I’m away, I make sure to call as many friends as possible and share that festive cheer. For me, it’s all about keeping that feeling of togetherness alive,” he concludes.
