She shared that she feels deeply grateful for everything 2025 has brought into her life. I am especially grateful that I bought a new house, which I always wanted to do before turning 25. I am very happy about that. Despite the positives, Sonal acknowledged that she found herself at her laziest this year. I thought of working on many new things, but I would start and then leave them in the middle. She said she doesn’t want this phase of laziness to continue in the coming year.”

She shared that 2025 tested everyone in some way or the other, with many things have happened, as we all know. But we all hope that in 2026 we do not have to face all that again and that it becomes a good year for everyone. There have been many unexpected turning points, both in work and in personal life. I feel it wasn’t just me; everyone experienced their own challenges, she said”

She further opened up about her character in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, noting that the year was equally demanding for her. Sonal said, “Malaika was demoted this year. Malaika now works as a traffic police constable, while earlier she was an ACP.”

“It gave me deeper insight into her character. She remains disciplined, hardworking, and committed to her duties even after the change. For me, it was a defining moment and an important turning point in 2025,” Sonal added.

2025 taught her patience. She said, “You should speak up for yourself but also be flexible in many situations. Have as many interests as you can, because as an actor, when you are not working, that is the best time to work on yourself and your other interests. It plays a vital role in your growth, both as an individual and as an artist.”

“Otherwise, if you only keep waiting for new work, it affects you emotionally. Someone once told me that actors are paid for waiting, because acting and speaking dialogues in front of the camera is our passion. This changed my mindset,” Sonal ended.
