Hrishikesh Pandey opens up about the price of fame and the true meaning of success.
For the actor, balance, family, and inner peace matter far more than just the spotlight.
Having spent years on the small screen, Hrishikesh Pandey has firmly established himself as a dependable and well-known figure in Indian TV. Best known for his steady role in the iconic crime show CID, the actor has built a reputation for playing sincere, grounded characters. But behind the calm exterior lies a man who deeply values peace, purpose, and balance—both professionally and personally.
Speaking candidly about the flip side of fame, Hrishikesh Pandey admits that while recognition brings its rewards, it often comes at the cost of personal privacy. “You lose your privacy. People recognize you in public places, and that can take away your personal peace,” he reflects. He adds, “But at the same time, it’s beautiful to be known and appreciated.” It’s this duality—of being visible yet craving normalcy—that defines much of his off-screen life.
For him, accomplishments aren’t solely defined by money or status.
He believes that true achievement lies in living a life that’s both meaningful and well-rounded. “What’s the point of earning a lot if you’re working like a machine and not really living?” he questions. “Success means finding equilibrium by uplifting others, standing by your loved ones, and sharing precious time with them. That’s what really matters,” Hrishikesh Pandey says.
He further emphasises that while work is essential, one doesn’t have to lose themselves in the pursuit of it. His parting thought is a grounded reminder many may need in today’s hustle-driven world. Hrishikesh Pandey says, “I’m not saying take it easy or work less. Work is important—but you can manage everything if you choose to.”
With a steady head on his shoulders and a grounded approach to life and stardom, Hrishikesh Pandey continues to set an example of what it means to thrive both on and off screen.
