Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao Making A Comeback After 16 Years!

Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao returns after a 16-year hiatus, reviving its high-stakes celebrity survival format.

As casting begins and preps pick up, the cult show is set to bring wild adventures, fresh faces, and jungle drama back to the small screen.

Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao is all set to roar back to screens after a 16-year pause! The reality show, which first premiered in 2009, is being revived with fresh energy, though a final confirmation on which channel it will air is still awaited. Reports suggest that Colors TV may take over the reins from the original broadcaster, Sony Entertainment Television.

Modeled after the famous UK format where stars face challenges in the jungle, the show returns with a local flavor. The show challenged celebrities to live in extreme conditions, survive on minimal resources, and compete in daring tasks to win immunity and audience votes.

A source close to the production reveals, “It’s true that we are looking at reviving Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao. The format is rich with possibilities, and we’ve started approaching celebrities who can bring fresh energy and intrigue. We hope to finalise the lineup soon and begin shooting shortly thereafter.”

The show’s debut season in 2009 featured a mix of popular television faces and entertainers: Mona Wasu, Chetan Hansraj, ’90s pop icon Anaida, Akashdeep Saigal, Aman Verma, Marc Robinson, Shweta Tiwari, singer-songwriter Ishq Bector, Roadies alum Palak Johal, and Faiza Mohammad. Wildcard entries like Negar Khan, Jay Bhanushali, Mika Singh, Chitrashi Rawat, and Kashmera Shah kept viewers hooked with unexpected twists.

Mona Wasu eventually emerged as the winner, earning praise for her resilience and determination.

Chetan Hansraj was the first runner-up, while Anaida secured third place—rounding off a thrilling season finale that left fans wanting more.

With filming expected to commence soon, it remains to be seen which new set of celebrities will take on the challenge. Will it be familiar TV faces, Bollywood personalities, or complete surprises? Sources hint that while the essence of jungle survival and raw emotion will remain intact, the revived version will also bring a modern twist suited to today’s audiences.

Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao 2.0 is all set for a thrilling comeback—wilder, fiercer, and packed with even more adrenaline than before. Stay tuned!
