Abhishek Ranjan plays a pivotal role in the show in the character of Bala. In an exclusive conversation with Abhishek, the actor spills beans about his experience shooting for the show.
Abhishek says, “My experience shooting for the show has been extremely good. I have been modelling for eight years and have done theatre too. This is my debut show and everyone on the sets was extremely supportive. I did not feel like a newcomer.”
Shedding light on his character, Abhishek explained, “Bala is a negative character who can go to any extent to fulfil the challenge given by Gauri. He is quite opposite to what I am in real life. Bala is very impatient and impromptu while I am more of a cool and composed personality in real life. Playing such a negative character is challenging.”
Jaadu Teri Nazar – Daayan Ka Mausam centres on a Daayan named Kaamini, who declares Ravikant Pratap Singh to be Daavansh, the person who has the secret to her immortality, after giving birth to a kid he fathered. In the meantime, a girl is born as a Reevavanshi, the selected one who will wipe out the Daavansh and the Daayan people as a whole.
According to a wise woman from Prathamvansh, this girl would lead to their demise.
The girl’s mother, worried about her daughter’s safety, gives her the name Gauri, deprives her of her abilities, and buries them, knowing that they will come back to her in due time. She gives Gauri to the river in the hopes that she will be protected by divine forces from the Daayans. Kaamini murders Gauri’s parents out of hatred.
