Actress Vaishnavi Ganatra, who has won hearts with her expressive performances, is all set to be seen in Rahul Kumar Tewary’s new show Jagadhatri on Zee TV. The young actress opens up about being part of a show that celebrates strength, emotion, and resilience through its powerful storytelling.
“It feels absolutely amazing! Jagadhatri is a show with a strong vision, and being a part of it under Rahul Kumar Tewary’s banner feels like the right step forward for me,” says Vaishnavi. “I’m grateful and super excited for the audience to watch what we’ve been working on.”
Vaishnavi reveals that she was instantly drawn to the project. “The story felt powerful and refreshing, and my role had shades that excited me as an actor. I knew I wanted to be a part of it,” she shares.
In the show, Vaishnavi Ganatra plays Aarna Deshmukh, a lively social media influencer from an influential family. Describing her character, she says,
“Aarna is straightforward, witty, and doesn’t entertain any nonsense, but there’s also a charm in the way she handles people and situations. She’s the family’s favourite, the laadli and the funniest one, so I knew I had to take this up!”
Talking about her preparation, Vaishnavi adds, “My prep was mostly about slipping into Aarna’s mindset and attitude because she has her own flair. I added small quirks in my body language and tone to keep it fun and natural, someone you’d actually want to follow or know in real life.”
The actress also praises the atmosphere on set, saying,
“It’s been genuinely lovely. The team is warm, welcoming, and very focused. We have a great vibe on set, which makes shooting so much more fun and inspiring.”
Reflecting on the show’s theme, Vaishnavi notes that Jagadhatri goes beyond typical television drama.
“The show has a unique emotional core, it’s about depth, inner strength, and resilience. Jagadhatri represents a powerful force that supports and protects the world, and that spirit beautifully runs through our storytelling,” she explains.
Speaking about collaborating with producer Rahul Kumar Tewary, she shares,
“His vision is really sharp and impactful. He knows exactly how to get the best out of his team. It’s my first time working with his production, and I’m really excited to see where this journey goes.”
Vaishnavi believes that audiences will deeply relate to the show. “There’s an emotional honesty to it, moments that are relatable and grounded. Strength isn’t always loud; sometimes it’s quiet and personal,” she says.
As the show readies to air, Vaishnavi teases what viewers can look forward to:
“A lot of twists, heartfelt moments, and strong character journeys. The entire team has worked on it with so much passion. I’m really excited for viewers to connect with it and give us their love.”
