Speaking about one of his most unforgettable fan gestures, Kanwar says, “On all my birthdays, my fans have made it a ritual to run ads and birthday wishes for me on the Times Square billboard. They actually book and buy slots just to put those ads up. It’s crazy because it takes so much effort and money. It has been one of the most touching gestures for the last two years.”
For him, the grand gesture is not about the scale, but the heart behind it. He explains, “It’s touching to see how far they’ll go to show their love. I absolutely love my fans. They matter a lot to me. I’m a very people’s person, professionally and personally, and my fans have a huge contribution in making me who I am today.”
