Kapil Nirmal, who recently stepped into Bollywood with Vedaa, starring Sharvari Wagh and John Abraham, has long been admired for his sincere approach to acting. With nearly two decades of experience in the entertainment industry, he shares that he currently identifies solely as an actor.
Kapil Nirmal says, “As of now, I just see myself as an actor. I haven’t explored other creative avenues, and to be honest, I’m not particularly interested in doing so at this point.”
I Want To Be Known As A Dependable, Professional Actor
When asked what career path he might have chosen if acting hadn’t worked out, Kapil Nirmal candidly responds, “That’s the issue—I never seriously thought about doing anything else. I realized early on that I can only focus on one thing at a time. But maybe one day, I’ll explore direction.”
To him, career fulfillment is a balance of creativity, freedom, and financial security.
“Living in a high-cost urban area means that maintaining a secure financial foundation isn’t just important — it’s absolutely necessary. The cost of daily essentials, housing, transportation, and unexpected expenses can quickly add up. Without a solid financial plan, it becomes challenging to manage responsibilities or enjoy any sense of peace or stability. Career-wise, I want to be known as a dependable, professional actor.”
Kapil Nirmal also credits setbacks as key to his growth. “Sometimes, rejections turn out to be blessings—you end up getting better opportunities than the ones you missed,” he concludes.
