Kesari Chapter 2 Trailer: Akshay Kumar Makes A Solid Mark As C Sankaran Nair

The Kesari Chapter 2 trailer released just today, and while it is a narration of one of the most horrific incidents in the history of India’s freedom struggle, it is also a landmark event that will be a part of every story told about the India’s fight against Britishers.

The trailer of Kesari Chapter 2 was released today afternoon and soon, it has become the talk on the internet as everyone’s impressed, and because it is a story that matters. The trailer opens with lawyer C Sankaran (Akshay) question the British officer about his decision to open fire without a warning, and when he says that he did so because the people there were armed, Nair asks him about what weapons did the kids have.

The trailer then moves forward to heart wrenching glimpses of what went down during the firing that took place at Jallianwala Bagh back in 1911 and then, as Akshay’s Nair decided to take it upon himself to fight the crown to get justice, we are introduced to R Madhavan’s Neville Mckinley, who is the lawyer on the crown’s behalf, and when introducing him, everyone’s discussing how he is crazy but he knows what he is doing.

Ananya Panday, meanwhile, plays Dilreet Gill and has just one quick scene in the Kesari Chapter 2 trailer, where she’s questioned about being a female lawyer, and she says ‘Don’t you have a Queen in London?’!

Slated for a release in April 18, Kesari Chapter 2 is directed by debutant director Karan Singh Tyagi, and is produced by Dharma Productions. There’s been a lot of buzz around the movie, and so far, it looks like the team will be able to do justice to this story that’s not just another topic one makes a film on, and is supposed to evoke feelings towards the nation.

With just a couple of days to go, the countdown has begun!
