Q1. Tell us something about your background briefly.
PS. My name is Pooja Seth, born on 16th September 1977 in Mumbai, though my heart truly belongs to Amritsar, where I grew up, completed my schooling, and built countless memories. I deeply love my city because it holds my family and my roots, the place where my childhood was filled with warmth, love, and simple joys. I got married at the age of 20 to Mr. Amit Seth, and together we have built a beautiful and happy family. We are blessed with two wonderful children, Bhavish Seth (27) and Diya Seth (24). Family means everything to me. I believe love, care, and respect are the foundation of every relationship. I always strive to keep my family united, happy, and surrounded by positivity and harmony.
Q2. How and when did you start your healer’s journey?
PS. My journey toward healing and spirituality began with many life lessons. In 2000, life took a difficult turn for me and my family. My father-in-law suffered a heart attack, and soon after, in 2001, my husband’s urinary tract was severely damaged due to a medical error. Those days were extremely painful. My husband underwent 16 surgeries, and when my daughter was just 40 days old, doctors said there was no hope for his survival. But by the divine grace of Maa Vaishno Devi, my husband not only survived but emerged even stronger. Today, he is the pillar of our family, always supporting, helping, and doing good for everyone around him, often without anyone even realizing it. These experiences became the turning point of my life. They awakened a deep desire within me to heal, serve, and spread positivity. Before 2011, I learned Reiki, and in 2015, I began my journey as a Pranic Healer. Since then, healing has become my purpose, a way to bring light where there is pain and hope where there is struggle.
Q3. What inspired you to take this up as a profession?
PS. Helping myself and my family through difficult times inspired me deeply to take up healing as my life’s profession. I have realized that people often judge others too quickly. One small mistake, and they forget all the good a person has done. But in the eyes of God, everyone is equal. No one is truly good or bad; we are all souls learning and evolving on our own paths. I strongly believe that those who are meant to heal will naturally be guided to me. There is a divine connection in healing. It’s not about chance; it’s about energy. This world of healing is completely different from the outer world. It’s a world of peace, light, and transformation. Whenever I heal, I feel complete, fulfilled, and aligned with my higher purpose. My family supports me wholeheartedly, and that love gives me the strength to continue spreading light through this beautiful profession.
Q4. Why and how did you shift your base to Amritsar?
PS.Though my nani ghar is in Mumbai, my mother, father, younger brother, and I, all four of us, have always lived in Amritsar. It’s the city that shaped my childhood, filled my life with love, and continues to hold all my sweetest memories.
Q5. What kind of obstacles did you face initially in your career?
PS. In the beginning of my career, I faced many obstacles. People wanted healing, but they didn’t want to pay. They would call me even late at night, take healing, and later speak nonsense behind my back. Some people couldn’t handle my growth. They said, ‘Pehle toh roti thi, ab hasti hai.’ Yes, I opened a healing centre, and again, people had many things to say. At one point, I stopped. I thought maybe that was the end. But now I realize that phase was not my ending, it was my reverse gear. Just like when we start a car, we first go into reverse, then first gear, and that’s when the car finally gains speed. That pause was my preparation, my reverse, for a much stronger journey ahead.
Q6. What kind of awareness have you noticed in people regarding your practice?
PS. Today, people know if Pooja says something will happen, it will happen. I’ve earned that trust with my Maa’s divine grace. When you give your 100%, the universe gives it back exactly as you deserve. Whatever you do, good or bad, it always returns one day. In my heart, I’ve never wished wrong for anyone, but yes, life itself is the greatest lesson. Whatever you have today, that is the best for you. What you build with honesty becomes trust, and trust always touches new heights. I always say, ‘Rehna hai toh dilo mein raho, ghar mein toh sab rehte hain.’ Because only love and truth create a space that lasts forever.”
Q7. While healing people, how do you deal with their grief or problems without being affected?
PS. When people come to me, even if I am with them for just two hours, I never feel anxious. Someone once asked me, ‘How do you handle so many emotions? If I were in your place, I would have lost patience and told people it’s enough.’ But I always say, people come with problems, and if you don’t even have the time to truly listen, then why are you here? Sometimes, they recover 90% simply by being heard, because being heard itself is healing. I deeply believe I am not the doer, I am only a channel. Whatever is meant to happen, happens through divine grace. Today, I am not just a Reiki or Pranic Healer. With the blessings I’ve received, many feathers have been added to my cap, Angel Card Reading, Switchwords, Vastu, Crystal Healing, Chakra Healing, Manifestation Coaching, Inner Child Healing, Past Life Regression, Sound Healing, Soul Constellation, and many more. Above all, I am a learner, and this beautiful journey has brought me to the path of healing and divine connection.
