Munawar Faruiqui shocked everyone when news about him getting secretly married first made headlines. As it turns out, he has now performed Umrah with his wife Mehzabeen and also shared photos on social media. He got married to Mehzabeen Coatwala, who is a makeup artist by profession.
He shared multiple photos of being able to visit Makkah in the holy month of Ramadan, and his wife too, had shared her gratitude on her social media.
Soon after he shared the post, fans dropped in comments, sending love and blessing to the couple as well as Munawar Faruiqui. The post crossed 300k likes in less than an hour, while fans continue to shower love and celebrate this feat of Munawar’s.

Munawar Faruiqui recently appeared on Sana Khan’s podcast, where he spoke about his intimate nikkah with Mezabeen, and went on to mention how marriage has brought stability to his life. He also revealed that he was hospitalised ahead of his wedding but he pulled through and the duo got married on May 26, 2024.
When talking about dowry, Munawar Faruiqui also went on to say how he opted for an intimate wedding because he is scared of people putting ‘nazar’ and he is not scared of death as he is scared about someone putting an evil eye on them, the marriage or on wife, Mehzabeen.
For the unversed, Mehzabeen was married earlier, and has a 10-year-old daughter from the marriage. Munawar too, was married earlier and has a son from his marriage.
During his appearance on the podcast, the Bigg Boss 17 winner also spoke about financially helping people and said that when someone comes to you, you shouldn’t let them go empty handed. He added that it if Allah has sent someone to you, you should give, and be a giver. He also concluded by saying that maybe, today, he can help people because he is blessed.
Among other things, he also spoke about dowry, and everyone has been talking about that too.
