Tina Ahuja reflects emotionally on her cherished memories with Dharmendra, recalling the blessings, warmth, and guidance she received while working with him.

With the recent passing of the legendary actor Dharmendra, Bollywood has truly witnessed the end of an era. His loss has deeply affected fans across generations, as well as colleagues who admired him for his magnetic screen presence and the generosity he extended beyond it. Among those grieving is actress Tina Ahuja, who shared a heartfelt social-media tribute expressing how fortunate she felt to have worked with him and how unforgettable his kindness and blessings had been throughout the years.
In a conversation with us, Tina expanded on these sentiments, recalling how meaningful her bond with Dharmendra had been.
She said, “I feel extremely grateful and blessed to have got an opportunity of working with sir. And I will always cherish all the love, blessings, kindness and aashirwaad he has always given me all these years.”
Tina described working with the legendary actor in their 2015 film Second Hand Husband as nothing short of magical.
She shared, “My experience working sir was just like a dream come true. He is my parents’ favorite actor, my favorite actor, and it was like a dream come true for me to start my career working with him in my first film. The experience was beautiful, unforgettable, with lots of beautiful memories that I will always cherish in my life.”
She also recalled meeting him again during the shoot of a reality show, a moment filled with the same warmth she had always known. “Bohot achha laga unse mil kar. And for all the love and ashirwaad he gave me then also was beautiful,” she fondly remembered.
Beyond memories, Dharmendra left her with invaluable guidance. “I will always remember all the tips he gave me when I was working with him. He gave me tips about acting, lighting, cinema, health, and lifestyle. Woh main zindagi mein kabhi nahi bhool sakti, and I will always cherish them,” she shared.
Through Tina’s fond recollections, it is clear that Dharmendra’s legacy lives not only through his films but also in the hearts he touched, a legend forever remembered.
