Delnaaz Irani, known for her memorable performances in shows like Yes Boss, Akbar Birbal, Choti Sarrdaarni, Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey, Shararat, and her appearance on Bigg Boss 6, is currently basking in the unconditional love of someone truly special — her adorable Toy Poodle, Coco. On the occasion of National Pet Day, celebrated on April 
11, the actress, currently seen in Mannat – Har Khushi Paane Ki, reflects on the immense joy her furry companion has brought into her life.
“We brought Coco home in September last year, although he was born in July. So now, we’re planning to celebrate both his birthdays,” Delnaaz Irani laughs and adds, “One for the day he was born, and one for the day he joined our family.”

Describing Coco as a “cotton ball with endless energy,” she says he’s much more than just a pet — he’s a bundle of happiness who brings life to every corner of their home. Delnaaz Irani shares, “He gets so excited whenever someone new walks in. He jumps around and greets them like they’ve been friends forever. He’s incredibly friendly and, honestly, full of drama.”
Speaking of drama, Delnaaz Irani affectionately calls him the “drama queen” of the house. She shares, “Sometimes I feel like he’s a better actor than I am. His expressions, his timing — it’s all spot on!”
Their bond extends into their daily routine as well. She says, “We even watch Anupamaa together — seriously! It’s our little ritual. He’s the best company anyone could ask for.”
Reflecting on what Coco has taught her, Delnaaz Irani says, “Pets love so selflessly. 
They don’t ask for much — just love. Coco’s presence has taught me compassion, patience, and emotional depth.”
Her message this National Pet Day? “If you’re thinking of getting a pet, do it — adopt if you can. They truly change your life. Coco has changed mine,” she concludes.
