Pavitra Punia and Eijaz Khan were pure fireworks when they were together. The duo formed a deep connection during their stint on Bigg Boss 14 and dated for nearly two years before calling it quits in 2023. While they’ve now moved on, fans will get to witness their on-screen chemistry once again in a short film titled Naffs, produced by actress Dalljiet Kaur.
Eijaz Khan, while speaking to Hindustan Times, offered a curt response: “We shot this three years ago and I don’t wish to comment any further.”

On the other hand, Pavitra Punia was more open about reuniting with her ex on screen and the experience of working on the project. In a chat with Downtown Mirror Weekly, she shared, “At that time, we were still together, so we thoroughly enjoyed the shoot. It was a one-day shoot, and short films usually wrap up quickly. The story was strong and the overall experience was great. That was the first time I shared screen space with Eijaz, who’s a seasoned and well-respected actor. It was a professional setup, and we stayed true to that. The chemistry we shared then was genuine, and it translated well on screen. So honestly, I don’t understand the need to avoid commenting on it.”
Pavitra Punia continued, “I’ve always been a professional when it comes to work. There’s nothing bitter between us now either. We don’t talk anymore, and that’s okay. But there’s no bad blood. I remember there was some unnecessary controversy last time due to misreported information by some news portals, but that was later clarified — I never mentioned him. In any case, the project turned out really well, I enjoyed working on it, and I’m genuinely looking forward to seeing how it comes out.”
When asked if she’d be comfortable promoting Naffs alongside Eijaz Khan, Pavitra Punia responded candidly, “Absolutely, I’d be comfortable. Even if it were a new project, I wouldn’t shy away from it. That’s not how I function. Avoiding a good project because of personal reasons is unprofessional — it’s like betraying your craft. And since we’ve already shot for this, if there’s a chance to promote it, why would I hesitate? Wahaan par koi talwaarbaazi thodi karne lag jaayega!”
And what if she’s offered another project with Eijaz in the future? “Why would I not take on a project if it is compelling? I would love to,” she ended the conversation with a smile.
