Prateik Chaudhary acknowledges Bigg Boss as a fast track to fame but emphasizes he prefers to build his reputation through talent and hard work.
While he’s open to joining the show someday, it would be mainly for the chance to share the screen with Salman Khan.
Actor Prateik Chaudhary, who has made a mark with the mini-series Badass Elite and the show Tose Naina Milai Ke, says reality shows like Bigg Boss are excellent for gaining instant fame—something even daily soaps may not always achieve.
Prateik Chaudhary says, “Bigg Boss is great. It offers great exposure and widespread recognition, particularly with someone like Salman Khan leading the show, which adds immense appeal.
Sometimes, you don’t get that kind of fame from daily soaps, even after doing them for years. But with Bigg Boss, you can gain tremendous popularity in just three months.”
However, the actor is clear that fame isn’t something he wants to chase through shortcuts. He firmly believes in earning respect through craft and consistency.
“I don’t think every actor wants quick fame or a shortcut to success. Consider my own journey—I’m not someone who’s chasing fame alone. I want people to know and respect me for my work, not just because of a reality show,” Prateik Chaudhary adds.
When asked if he would ever consider being on the show, Prateik Chaudhary replies, “I’m a private person, so I’m not sure if I’d enjoy it. But if I ever do Bigg Boss in the future, I’ll find a way to survive somehow.”
Prateik Chaudhary concludes, “In the past, whenever I was asked about Bigg Boss, I clearly mentioned that if I ever participate, it would be only because of Salman Khan.
Sharing the screen with him is a big deal and would always be a memorable experience for me.”
