On Earth Day, Rajat Verma urges everyone to adopt sustainable habits and reconnect with nature. Known for his mindful living, he believes even small, consistent actions can create a powerful ripple effect for a greener future.
As the world unites to celebrate Earth Day, Rajat Verma has taken a moment to reflect on the urgent need for environmental awareness and personal responsibility. Known for his roles in shows like Beyhadh 2 and recently-concluded Jamuniya, the actor shared that people must take responsibility for their own actions and take care of the environment.
“In a world that’s constantly moving fast, we often forget the most important relationship we have — the one with our planet,” he shared, adding, “This Earth Day, I urge everyone to pause, reflect, and take a step towards healing nature. Whether it’s planting a tree, saying no to single-use plastic, or simply choosing to walk instead of drive — every little act matters. You don’t need to be perfect to protect the Earth — just be consistent.”
Rajat Verma also spoke about the conscious choices he’s made in his daily life to support the environment. He said, “I’ve stopped using plastic bottles completely — I always carry a reusable water bottle. I also segregate waste at home and compost organic leftovers. I make it a point to switch off appliances when not in use, and I support local,
eco-friendly brands as much as I can.”

The actor, known for his love of animals and sustainable living, emphasised how deeply he feels connected to nature. “I’ve always believed that nature has the power to ground us,” Rajat Verma said.
Rajat Verma added, “Some of my most peaceful moments have been surrounded by greenery or sitting by a river. These are the experiences we must preserve for future generations.”
Rajat Verma also shared his hopes that more people in the entertainment industry would use their influence to support green initiatives. “As actors, we have a voice — and when that voice supports a cause like the environment, it creates a ripple effect. I hope more people in my industry come forward and advocate for a cleaner, greener Earth,” he ended.
