Anubha Arora shares how spirituality became her anchor during tough times, helping her redefine success, failure, and inner peace.
She believes spirituality is essential in today’s fast-paced world, beyond the confines of traditional religion.
While religion often follows traditions, rituals, and faith-based practices, spirituality is a more personal journey, one that transcends boundaries and focuses on inner growth, peace, and self-discovery.
The Bengal Files actor Anubha Arora shares this belief wholeheartedly.
Anubha Arora said, “I feel religion is man-made, while spirituality is a way of life. Religion, as we understand it today, is quite different. Spirituality is all about the practices that bring you closer to the real meaning of life.”
“Spirituality is nothing and everything you try to seek in the outer world, but it’s already within you,” she added.
Anubha Arora was drawn deeper into spirituality during a difficult period in her life. She said, “Usually, people explore spirituality during their lowest phase, and yes, I had a similar experience. My depth of understanding increased when I was personally battling a plethora of existential questions.”
She now sees spirituality as essential in today’s world. She shared, “It’s just that it was never a trend until now. I guess influence works in positive ways as well. I try to meditate daily without fail for at least 10 minutes to feel grounded.”
Even her perception of success and failure has evolved. Anubha Arora said, “My take on success and failure has changed entirely in the last few years. Now, I don’t let either influence my actions, thoughts, or behavior. It only makes me realize that it’s a part of life that isn’t as important as it seems.”
She concluded by saying she feels more self-assured and emotionally steady: “Mostly, nothing affects my inner peace for long. Though I might feel elated or completely bogged down for a while, I always find the strength to bounce back.”
