“The biggest takeaway from my journey has been that nothing is permanent — not the highs, not the lows,” Rohit Purohit says candidly, and adds, “And the most important lesson I’ve learned along the way is patience. You have to keep working hard, stay true to your craft, and most importantly, trust the timing of your life.”

In an industry as unpredictable as television, where it only takes one hit show to turn things around, Rohit Purohit has learned not to hinge his self-worth on fleeting moments of success or disappointment. “Television is incredibly unpredictable. You can never really tell what’s going to click,” the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor explains, adding, “That’s why I try not to attach my identity to success or failure. My focus is on doing honest work — because when you’re consistent and genuine in your efforts, the results eventually follow.”

For Rohit Purohit, staying grounded amid the chaos of the entertainment world is non-negotiable. He admits, “This industry is a rollercoaster. If you lose your balance, it’s easy to burn out.”

His strength comes from his close-knit circle — his family, a few trusted friends, and his unwavering belief in the process. “That support system, combined with faith in the journey, keeps me motivated,” Rohit Purohit says, adding, “At the end of the day, it’s about showing up, staying humble, and continuing to evolve — because the craft always comes first.”
