Nadeesh Bhambi, who is seen in the role of Chinmay in Ishika Shahi’s Jabb Zodiacs Met, revealed that he had a wonderful time shooting for the series. Praising Ishika’s leadership, he shared, “I was impressed by the clarity Ishika had about execution. She was present on set for every shoot — constantly involved and constantly guiding the direction of the show.”
He added, “Even though she had a very clear vision, she also allowed actors to contribute. If we felt that an improvisation would work better, as long as it aligned with the character and the show, she was very happy to integrate it.”
Nadeesh Bhambi especially appreciated her way of working with senior artistes. He said, “It is very easy for someone young to feel intimidated by people with 10, 15, or even 20 years of experience, but Ishika was very confident about her vision.”
“Even if she had to sit down and explain to more experienced actors why she wanted certain things done a certain way, she did it very beautifully. I honestly think the show has come together the way it has because of her clarity — and she has executed it in a very graceful manner,” Nadeesh Bhambi added.
Sharing his overall experience, Nadeesh Bhambi said, “Everything was extremely clear, whether it was the concept or what the show wanted to convey. There was very in-depth research done on zodiac signs, their traits, and their interactions. Everything was presented very precisely.”
He further added, “Even the colour palettes were thoughtfully designed — every character has a specific colour scheme that they wear throughout the show. That really shows how much research went into it.”
“The world-building was very clear, and the mini-universe connecting all the characters was extremely well thought out. Creating a show with multiple leads across episodes is very difficult, so I was truly impressed by the vision,” Nadeesh Bhambi said.
Jabb Zodiacs Met is a 12-episode series produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut Production and streams on their official YouTube channel.
When asked whether zodiac signs could guide his next role and what kind of character he would like to play, Nadeesh Bhambi shared, “I would really love to play a negative character — a villain, a bad guy, but a likeable bad guy. Someone the audience still roots for.”
“I keep getting good-boy roles. Everybody looks at me and thinks, ‘Let’s give him the nice guy role.’ In this show, every character has an episode where their negative side and toxic traits connected to their zodiac sign are explored.”
“My character is probably the only one who is not really a bad guy in any situation. Even in the episode where he is supposed to be negative, he still ends up being the good guy. So I would really like to explore a negative character next — but a likeable one, someone the audience supports,” Nadeesh Bhambi concluded.
