Sheen Dass’s much-anticipated comeback show Aami Dakini hit a snag after its original launch date of February 24 was pushed indefinitely. However, things are back on track, with the show now slated for a possible premiere at the end of April or early May. Along with a revamped script, the show now features a fresh cast. Hitesh Bharadwaj has taken over from Rohit Chandel as the male lead, while Kumkum Bhagya actress Rachi Sharma joins the cast. Sheen Dass will play the supernatural character of Dakini.

A source close to the show shared, “The channel felt the original script needed adjustments, so the makers reworked it. After several discussions, the creative team finalised a version that was approved by the channel. In the original script, the male lead was negative, but in the new one, he helps Dakini attain mukti.”
The source also revealed that the cast recently shot a segment in Kolkata, with Sheen Dass returning after a three-day shoot. The rest of the cast remained there for about a week. “It’s great to see the show getting back on track. While the channel is eyeing a launch in late April, there’s a chance it might get delayed by a week,” the source added.
