Shivani Gosain believes today’s youth, especially Gen Z, is emotionally aware, empathetic, and non-judgmental.
She highlights their independence, tech-savviness, and ability to understand others with compassion.
The youth of today is often misunderstood, believes actress Shivani Gosain, who is currently seen in Rangbaazi Dilon Ki. Contrary to popular opinion, she feels that the younger generation, especially Gen Z, is emotionally aware, empathetic, and far more accepting than earlier generations. According to her, today’s youth approach life with sensitivity and understanding rather than judgment.

Sharing her perspective, Shivani Gosain said, “I think the youth today, whom we call Gen Z, are very sensitive and at the same time very understanding. What I like most about them is that they are not judgmental. Most of them have this attitude of ‘It’s okay.’ They understand other people’s feelings and try to sort things out in their own way.”
She further highlighted how the younger generation approaches situations with empathy and emotional maturity. “They also have the ability to take things lightly. When I was younger, I would take everything very seriously, questioning why things were happening a certain way. But today’s youngsters are more casual in a positive sense. They step into other people’s shoes and think, ‘Maybe this person is going through something, that’s why they’re behaving this way.’ That non-judgmental attitude feels really good,” she shared.
Shivani Gosain also described the current generation as highly tech-savvy and well-informed. “They know all the technical aspects of this era and stay constantly updated, which is impressive,” she said.
Speaking about their independence, she added, “What I really admire about today’s generation is their ability to take decisions on their own. They have very different mindsets, which makes you more accepting as well. If we try to understand them a little, I think it can create a beautiful balance between youngsters, millennials, and everyone else. The generation gap would almost disappear if we make that effort.”
