Once a chai lover, always a chai lover — and Shubhangi Atre is the perfect example of that. The actress adores her daily cup of tea and believes it helps calm her mind and uplift her soul.
Tea is more than just a morning beverage for Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai actress Shubhangi Atre. On International Tea Day, the actress shares that the drink helps her calm down and refreshes her instantly.
“Tea is not just a beverage for me; it’s a heartfelt emotion. I believe that tea has the power to calm your mind and uplift your soul. I’m definitely a tea person. For me, a perfect cup of tea is warm, soothing, and made with love. I personally enjoy herbal teas the most—rose tea, cinnamon tea, and other floral options are my favourites. The aroma and natural taste just make me feel so peaceful,” she says.
Shubhangi Atre adds, “I love having my cup while sitting in my favourite corner of the house and reading my favorite book. If I could share tea with someone, I would choose Rani Lakshmibai. I would love to know how such a strong and brave woman remained calm and powerful, especially during tough times.”
Shubhangi also believes that tea helps break the ice between people. Shubhangi Atre says, “In our Indian culture, tea is more than just a drink. It’s a way to connect with people. Whenever guests come over to our home, the first thing we ask them is, ‘Chai loge?’ That shows how close tea is to our hearts.”
As for her favorite kind of tea, she shares, “I like my tea light, herbal, and full of natural flavours. It’s my daily dose of comfort in a cup.”
