Sikandar Trailer: Salman Khan Is Back To Save The World But Where Does It All Go?

Salman Khan movies now all seem to have the same exact template – it’s either tons of action scenes where he barely makes any effort, or just loads of family drama, which doesn’t even work too well. And now, the trailer of Sikandar seems to be quite a miss but at the same time, gets some elements right.

Before I lay out my thoughts about the Sikandar trailer, check it out here first:

Now, the trailer starts off by showing us Sikandar’s god complex, and then eventually escalates to a point where we know that this movie is about the star, and not just the doings.

From some heavy action sequences to glimpses of the songs that we will get to see, Sikandar does have all that the fans want it to have. However, it is 2025, and if we are still following the same patterns that we’ve always followed, but only with a better production quality, filmmaking is down to the dumps.

Rashmika Mandanna has been getting films left, right and centre, and yet, there are barely projects where she fits in, and this is no different. Many viewers did feel that there’s this point where she’s singing a song and it looks like she’s just giving major villain vibes, but then who knows what might happen next!

Oh, the fact that I was done with dialogues from the movie in just the trailer, is not even surprising anymore. They are cringe, there’s absolutely no base to what he’s doing, and much like the films he chooses, even the storyline is just all about making a big deal about the smaller things in life, but then add a touch heroism to it.

Sikandar does succeed in doing fan service to all Salman fans who love a good action drama and just want to see him back on screen but it actually doesn’t have much to offer when it comes to storyline, performances, screenplay, and everything else, actually.

Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, Sikandar is set for a release on March 30, 2025 and is backed by Sajid Nadiadwala. This Eid, SK fans are in for a treat, but are we all? Well, time will tell!
