Actress Sumbul Touqeer, currently seen in Itti Si Khushi, continues to impress audiences with her versatility and screen presence. Reflecting on how the industry has changed in recent years, Sumbul Touqeer said,
“It’s true that the number of platforms has increased, offering more opportunities, but at the same time, the competition has become more intense. Every actor, writer, and director is striving to grab the audience’s attention. The sheer volume of content being made today means that one has to constantly push themselves to deliver their best.”
Sumbul Touqeer further explained that the OTT boom has reshaped the entertainment space, encouraging more experimental and diverse storytelling.
However, with this evolution comes added pressure.
“There’s always someone just as talented or hardworking waiting for their break. That’s why, in my experience, it’s essential to stay focused on your craft rather than only chasing fame or success. The industry is unpredictable, and consistency matters more than ever in this environment,” she shared.
