Mann Atisundar is a family drama that follows the journey of an overweight young woman seeking love beyond appearances.
Sunny Sachdeva joins the cast as Aham Mittal, a complex elder brother whose evolving relationship with his sibling adds emotional depth to the storyline.
Actor Sunny Sachdeva, who recently wrapped up his role as Laal in the show Jhanak, has now joined the cast of Mann Atisundar.
He takes on the character of Aham Mittal, the older sibling of lead character Pratham, played by Sparsh Singh Kotwal.
Sunny Sachdeva shared, “Yes, I’m excited to join the cast of this beautiful family drama. It’s a meaningful story that aims to educate society about an overweight young woman who hopes to find a life partner who loves her for her inner beauty and pure nature, rather than her outward appearance. I enjoy acting in shows that not only entertain but also bring about social awareness.”
Talking about his character, Sunny Sachdeva continued, “I will be playing Aham, the elder son of the Mittal family. He is responsible and manages the family business. It’s a grey-shaded role—he starts off as a positive character who overlooks his younger brother’s mistakes, but things take a turn later in the story, leading to conflict between the two brothers. I hope the audience embraces me in this new journey.”
Sunny Sachdeva also shared how quickly the opportunity came about: “I was in my hometown, Delhi, when I got a call from casting director TaranVir Singh. He explained the role so well that I was instantly drawn to it. I auditioned and was asked to join the show the same day. I arrived in Mumbai that very day and started shooting right away—my first day was a night shift.”
Sunny Sachdeva is also known for his roles in Pyaar Ke Saat Vachan Dharam Patnii, Sherdil Shergill, and Naagin 6.
