Tu Juliet Jatt Di explores the emotional turmoil of Nawab as he struggles with academic pressure, relationships, and inner conflict.
The current track highlights mental health, self-control, and the consequences of misplaced anger.
Syed Raza Ahmed, who plays Nawab Brar in Tu Juliet Jatt Di, opens up about the emotionally intense phase currently unfolding in the show. The ongoing track has resonated strongly with viewers, as it delves into themes of responsibility, emotional overload, misunderstanding, and inner conflict. At its core, the story captures a young man struggling to balance ambition, relationships, and mounting pressure.

Talking about Nawab’s state of mind, Syed Raza Ahmed explains that this phase marks a turning point for his character. He says, “This phase is extremely important for Nawab. He is under tremendous pressure — academics, family issues, and his feelings for Heer. He wants to focus on his studies, but emotionally he is completely unsettled.”
The actor clarifies that Nawab’s harsh behaviour towards Heer (played by Jasmeet Kaur) stems not from malice, but from fear and confusion. According to him, Nawab believes he is protecting his future, even though his actions suggest otherwise. He says, “Nawab believes he is doing the right thing, but his way of expressing it is wrong. He is scared that distractions will ruin his future, and that fear turns into anger.”
Addressing the scenes where Nawab spirals emotionally, Syed Raza adds that the character’s breakdown reflects unresolved guilt and mental strain rather than villainy. He shares, “Nawab is not perfect. He breaks down, he drinks, and he makes mistakes. This track shows how unresolved emotions and guilt can push a person to a dark place.”
The friendship between Nawab and Buzzo (played by Abhishek Sharma) also adds emotional depth to the narrative. He shares, “Buzzo represents Nawab’s conscience. Even when Nawab wants to give up, Buzzo stands by him and tries to pull him back.”
Despite the conflict, Heer remains central to Nawab’s emotional world. He says, “Heer is his emotional anchor. No matter how much Nawab tries to distance himself, she remains his strength. The current track shows how deeply connected they are, even in separation.”
Concluding, Syed Raza Ahmed believes the storyline carries a meaningful message. “This track talks about mental pressure, misplaced anger, and the importance of choosing the right path. Nawab’s journey is about realising that education and self-control are his only way forward,” he says.
