Saarvie Omana, who is currently seen as Simran in Tumm Se Tumm Tak, shares a deeply personal bond with her on-screen character. Unlike roles that demand dramatic transformation, Simran feels instinctive and familiar to the actor, allowing Saarvie to bring an effortless authenticity to the screen. Talking about this connection, she reveals, “My character did not really push me out of my comfort zone. I feel it is very much like the real Saarvie on screen, someone who is always guiding her best friend and standing by her during tough times.”

This emotional closeness has shaped Saarvie’s journey on the show so far, even as she continues to wait for a defining moment that challenges her as a performer. Reflecting on Simran’s arc, she admits, “Till now, nothing special has happened that I can call a turning point or a milestone for my character. I am still waiting.” However, the actor is hopeful and eager to grow, adding, “I do wish I get something that pushes me out of my comfort zone so I can work harder and achieve that milestone.”

For Saarvie Omana, the beauty of playing Simran lies in how naturally the character flows into her own personality. Speaking about her craft, she explains, “In this show, I feel like I am playing myself, so there has not been a major change in my craft.” While she enjoys emotional realism, certain aspects of television storytelling remain challenging. “Sometimes I have to do a little OTT drama, and that is where I find it difficult,” she says honestly.

Saarvie Omana further elaborates on her acting philosophy, sharing, “I am naturally inclined towards subtle performances. Over-the-top drama is not really my thing.” For her, the key to authenticity lies in emotional honesty rather than exaggeration. “For me, the key is experiencing the character from within, so the performance doesn’t feel forced,” she adds.

As Tumm Se Tumm Tak continues to unfold, Saarvie Omana looks forward to moments that allow Simran to evolve further, moments that not only challenge the character but also push the actor beyond familiarity and into new creative territory.
