Rachel Babbar reflects on 2025 as a year of firsts, growth, and self-discovery, marked by her television debut in Udne Ki Aasha.
From stepping into a running show to exploring emotional depth on screen, the actor shares how the experience shaped her craft.
For Rachel Babbar, 2025 will always stand out as the year where preparation met opportunity. What began as a hopeful aspiration quietly transformed into a defining chapter of her career, as she made her television debut with Udne Ki Aasha. Produced by Rahul Kumar Tewary, the show not only introduced Rachel to a wider audience but also marked the beginning of her journey in the demanding world of daily television.

Looking back, Rachel admits the year didn’t unfold according to any structured plan. Instead, it came with unexpected shifts that pushed her to adapt, learn, and grow at a pace she hadn’t anticipated. Reflecting on the emotional significance of 2025, she shares, “2025 has truly been a year of unexpected turning points for me. It was the beginning of my television career, something I had always hoped for.”
Stepping into her first television project itself felt surreal for the actor, especially since she entered an already running show. Acknowledging the pressure that came with that responsibility, Rachel adds, “Getting my first show itself felt special, and stepping into an already running project came with pressure, but it also helped me grow faster as an actor.”
Taking on the role of Juhi Jadhav meant navigating unfamiliar territory. Replacing another actor brought with it the dual challenge of staying true to the story while building her own identity within the character. Speaking about this transition, Rachel explains, “Understanding the pace of daily television, the emotional depth and the consistency required was completely new for me. It wasn’t easy, but it taught me a lot.”
One of the most defining phases for Juhi in 2025 was the introduction of her love track, an arc that allowed Rachel to explore new emotional layers. For the actor, this shift marked a creative breakthrough. “It gave Juhi a stronger place in the story and allowed me to explore new emotions on screen. As an actor, it was very satisfying to perform those layers,” she says.
Beyond character growth, the experience of working on a daily show has reshaped Rachel’s understanding of her craft. She credits the year for building both discipline and creative instinct. She shares, “This year taught me discipline and spontaneity at the same time. I’ve become more confident in front of the camera and more aware of my expressions, body language and emotional continuity.”
As 2025 draws to a close, Rachel Babbar looks ahead with quiet confidence, carrying forward lessons rooted in patience, self-belief, and perseverance, qualities that continue to define her evolving journey as an actor.
