On the occasion of India’s 77th Republic Day, Rangbaazi Dilon Ki actress Shivani Gosain speaks from the heart about her love for the nation, her childhood memories, and what India truly means to her.
Sharing her deep emotions for the country, Shivani Gosain says, “26th January, I am an Indian and no matter what I Love my country and want my Bharat to flourish with love, peace and true Bhartiya culture…
“I really wish that we all just become Bhartiya then anything else… One country, one law and equal treatment to every single individual.”
”Shivani Gosain adds that while the country is progressing fast, there are still many challenges that need attention. “Today I have a mixed feeling as I see lot of growth but at the same time lot of problems, dirty politics, hatred, disputes.”
Talking about unity, Shivani Gosain strongly feels that identity should be beyond caste or category. “I really wish that we all just become Bhartiya then anything else… One country, one law and equal treatment to every single individual.”
She also highlights the importance of proper use of public money and safety for citizens, especially women, children and the elderly, and care for animals and nature.
Recalling her childhood days, Shivani Gosain smiles as she says, “In childhood I used to look forward coz I used to participate in school activities, folk dance, march etc… always mesmerised seeing flag hosting and standing for National anthem, giving salami…”
Shivani Gosain adds that even today, Republic Day mornings feel special at home. “Early morning getting up, watching TV with parents with a complete patriotic feel and seeing the live telecast of the republic day parade and enjoying the holiday.”
When asked what she loves most about India, she proudly says, “As a citizen of India I love our rich culture and strong roots of Sanatan Dharma. And Unity in Diversity.”Through her words, Shivani Gosain reminds everyone that real patriotism lies in respect, responsibility, kindness, and standing together as Indians.
