Vikas Verma On Shooting For Sikandar, Getting A Photo With Salman Khan & More | Exclusive!

Actor Vikas Verma, known for his performances in films like Mom, Judwaa 2, Shaandaar, and Coolie No. 1, has made quite a mark with his latest role in Sikandar. While the movie has done very well at the box office, the cast sure had a fun time working with Salman Khan. Talking about sharing screen space with megastar Salman Khan, Vikas revealed how the experience was both intimidating and rewarding. He also called Sikandar his most memorable project to date.

“Salman sir has this aura where you don’t dare speak much, but inside, he is a very soft and amazing human being,” shares Vikas Verma. He fondly recalled how Salman not only guided him but also helped improvise scenes to bring out the best performances. “Whenever I was doing my dialogues, Salman sir corrected me, gave me great advice, and elevated the scenes with his inputs.” Vikas Verma also added how he knows people will remember him for this film.

Despite spending 90 days on set with Salman, Vikas Verma admits that he hesitated to ask for a picture. “It took me the entire shoot schedule to finally gather the courage for one photo with him!” he laughs.

Meanwhile, Vikas Verma started his career as a model and made his acting debut with Yaariyan, and he has consistently impressed audiences with his versatility. From playing a menacing antagonist in Shaandaar to showcasing his comedic timing in Coolie No. 1, he has carved a niche in the industry. However, he believes Sikandar will be a turning point. “Out of all my big films, people will remember me for Sikandar, because I have impactful scenes in it,” he asserts.

Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar was one of the most anticipated releases of the year, featuring high-octane action, intense drama, and a stellar cast. Sikandar has done very well at the box office, and while there have been mixed responses, the numbers seem to be in the team’s favour as fans continue to celebrate Bhaijaan!
