Angry Virat Kohli fans bombarded the comment section of Instagram founder Mark Zuckerberg for accidental ‘like’ on actress Avneet Kaur’s picture.
At times, social media can be a funny place. Recently, an incident occurred which left popular cricketer Virat Kohli and actress Avneet Kaur in the spotlight. It so happened that a like was registered from Virat Kohli’s account on a picture shared by Avneet Kaur. Within no time, it garnered everyone’s attention, more so, because it happened on Kohli’s wife Anushka Sharma’s birthday.
In no time, the incident spread like a wild fire and Virat Kohli had to respond to the same. The ace cricketer took to social media and shared his statement on the incident. He mentioned that it was not him, but an Instagram algorithm because of which an accidental like was registered. He added that it wasn’t intentional.
While a lot of people felt that there was no need for Virat Kohli’s to clarify, a few ardent fans of the cricketer reacted angrily to the incident. A number of fans bombarded Instagram founder Mark Zuckerberg’s comment section asking him to take the accountability of the ‘accidental like’. Many fans believed that the incident might hamper the cricketer’s reputation. Fans also demanded that the officials should apologise to Virat.
A fan took to a recent post of Zuckerberg and wrote, “King ko sorry bol (Apologise to the King).” Another one wrote, “Arey Kohli ka naam mat dubao (Don’t malign Kohli’s name).”
An ardent fan expressed, “Sorry boldo abhi bhi time hai. (You still have time, apologise).”
Apart from Mark Zuckerberg’s comment section, actress Avneet Kaur’s social media is also bombarded with Virat Kohli’s fans’ comments. Many of the cricketer’s fans dropped by Avneet’s profile to see the ‘like’ by Virat Kohli.
