Presenting “The Journey,” Lakshita’s Summer 2025 collection, which is intended for people who have purpose in every action and style in every situation. The developing character is reflected in the latest drop, which is designed to journey between locations, seasons and personal milestones! It honours changes, travel and the ordinary events that make us who we are. It is rooted in tradition and influenced by contemporary sensibilities.
This collection represents a new phase in its design history. The Journey combines easy designs and thoughtful touches that feel new, familiar and easily elegant, drawing inspiration from ordinary events.
The campaign, which was shot in a guerrilla fashion on Bombay’s streets, sacrifices polish for genuineness. The backdrop, which consists of sunlit corners, narrow alleys and chipped walls, feels authentic and unvarnished. The collection’s spirit is reflected in the location. Like the women who wear Lakshita, Bombay has an unfiltered, old-world appeal.

The Journey provides simple, wearable shapes that are ideal for days with warm temperatures. Its distinctive cuts for comfort and movement, airy dresses, easy co-ord sets, and adaptable tunics are all part of the collection.
Classic Indian designs such as Mughal flowers, batik, Ajrakh and Kalamkari serve as inspiration for the prints, while delicate accents like lace trims and hand-done threadwork provide depth without being overbearing. The fabric story is dominated by lightweight cottons, soft rayons and simple blends, with a palette that includes earth-toned neutrals, vivid brights and washed pastels.
Whether you’re stepping out or staying in, this drop was made for wherever the day leads!
