If you’ve been following Bigg Boss 19, it’s hard to miss the pattern, Abhishek Bajaj appears to be on the receiving end of constant scrutiny. The rulebook supposedly bans “outside chatter,” yet host Salman Khan brought up Abhishek’s past and even hinted at an “ex-wife” episode, leaving him visibly shaken. Was that really necessary, or just another attempt to unnerve him on national television?
After the weekend episode, a visibly disturbed Abhishek quietly tried to discuss the matter with his close friend Ashnoor Kaur. During their first conversation, the two briefly covered their mics and were immediately warned by Bigg Boss for doing so.
Later, while trying to clarify things in the pool, they were again pulled up for speaking in hushed tones without wearing their microphones. This time, Bigg Boss went a step further and directly nominated both for violating the rule. Rules are rules, but then why don’t they apply evenly? Contestants have broken bigger rules, chatting in English, smoking-room gossip, blatant plotting, yet they were never punished this harshly.
Meanwhile, the show seems to be cushioning its favourites. Amaal Mallik’s father, Daboo Mallik, entered the house to “guide” him, while Salman Khan routinely offers Amaal gentle advice despite his arrogant behaviour. Why the double standards?
It’s becoming clear that Bigg Boss 19 is not just about strategy and survival anymore, it’s about who the makers want to protect and who they want to corner. Abhishek’s every move is being dissected, while others get away with far worse. Fans on social media aren’t buying the “coincidence” theory anymore, they’re calling it what it looks like: targeting.
