Charu Trikha’s Ghostly Debut
Reflecting on the experience, she shares,
“I was nervous and excited at the same time about playing a ghost, something I have never done in my career so far. I was quite scared whether I would be able to pull it off. But I am glad everyone on the set and in my family loved my performance and I did justice to the part and their appreciation pushed me to do better. It was refreshing to challenge myself with something outside my usual roles.”
Her portrayal wasn’t reliant on grand dialogues, but rather subtle emotional cues. “I tried to keep it somewhere in between, it should not look over-the-top or too subtle. I didn’t have many dialogues and had to play with expressions. They gave me a flickering smile and, mind you, it wasn’t easy to ace that smile.”

From what I’ve heard, the show is performing just fine. I haven’t heard about the show concluding anytime soon.”
